A Guatemalan national has been killed in a one-vehicle, rollover accident near Grand Island.
The Nebraska State Patrol reports 23-year-old Moises Pablo-Guarcas of Grand Island died in the accident on Highway 281.
According to the patrol, 23-year-old Mario Verdugo-Perez of Grand Island was driving south on 281 Tuesday evening. He passed a pick-up, but overcorrected when he tried to merge back into the driving lane. The vehicle rolled several times, crossed the median and then the northbound lanes of the highway.
The driver and two other passengers suffered injuries in the wreck; one is listed in critical condition at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Pablo-Guarcas was not wearing a seat belt, according to the patrol, and was ejected from the truck.
