The Nebraska State Patrol reports four people died in four crashes the first weekend of the new month.
The fatalities occurred in Douglas, Hall, Richardson, and Seward Counties. Three drivers and one passenger were killed. Only one was wearing a seat belt.
The patrol worked one of the crashes. The other three were worked by Douglas, Seward, and Richardson County sheriff’s offices. NSP reports traffic fatalities this year have now reached 192, compared with 179 on the same date last year.
