One positive for the game on the offense was the play of quarterback Tommy Armstrong. He was 12 of 29 for 223 yards, he ran for 45 yards and didn’t turn the ball over. Armstrong has been doing his work behind a shaky offensive line that needs some work. Nebraska ran the ball just about two-thirds of the time in the game on Saturday, and didn’t even attempt a pass in the third quarter. They ran 18 straight plays without throwing the football, yet they allowed four more sacks, giving them a total of eight in the last two games…four against Wisconsin, four against Minnesota.
