A 30-year-old Red Cloud man has surrendered to law enforcement after holding a woman against her will in south-central Nebraska.
The Nebraska State Patrol reports Charles Folkman gave up without a fight early this morning after an all-night standoff with police.
The 46-year-old woman he had held at knifepoint was released to authorities, then treated and released for minor injuries at the Webster County Community Hospital.
According NSP, Nebraska State Patrol troopers and Webster County Sheriff deputies responded to an emergency call at 2 o’clock this morning that a man armed with a knife was holding a woman against her will. The call also reported a second adult male was asleep in the residence.
