The Nebraska Humane Society is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in an animal cruelty case in Omaha.
Vice President of Field Operations Mark Langan says a woman reported Sunday a vehicle was circling a southeast Omaha neighborhood when someone inside threw something out the window. He says that something was a diaper box that had been duct taped shut. Inside the box was a cat. The animal was not injured.
Langan says, “If you have an unwanted animal bring it to us. There is absolutely no reason to throw a cat in a taped-up box from a car.”
