Nebraska sophomore MJ Knighten, junior Kiki Stokes and senior Steph Pasquale were named to the All-Big Ten softball first team.
Knighten, one of six unanimous choices, finished the Big Ten season with a .475 batting average and 38 hits. She had 31 RBIs, putting her eighth all-time for a season in the Big Ten in the category.
Stokes hit .338 in Big Ten action, including two doubles, three triples, two home runs and 17 RBIs in the leadoff spot. Stokes has scored 60 runs, one shy of the school record.
Pasquale, a transfer from Temple, hit .406 with eight home runs and 36 RBIs. Her 36 RBIs in league play are second in Big Ten history, just one away from the record of 37.
Junior pitcher Emily Lockman earned second-team honors after a 10-4 record in conference play.
The Nebraska softball team is in Columbus, Ohio, for the Big Ten Tournament. Host Ohio State will play Indiana today. The winner of that game faces the Huskers on Friday at 4:30.
