This is the last call for tickets to the 2015 Cattlemen’s Ball scheduled for June 5th and 6th. The ball will be held at the Redbird Ranch near Lynch, Nebraska.
Event co-chairperson Deb Hilker says events Friday include a golf tournament, reception, a live auction and a dance. Saturday starts at 9 am with a champagne social followed by helicopter, wagon and airboat rides, an art show, a silent auction, a Native American powwow, a live auction, health screenings, wine tasting, style show, farm and machinery auction, and several meals.
Hilker says this year’s featured entertainment is a concert with Aaron TippIn, Sammy Kershaw and Darryl Worley.
The Trail Boss tickets are $350 and are good for both days of the event. The Top Hand tickets are $75 and allow guests to enter at 1 pm on Saturday.
Hilker says 90% of the proceeds go to the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center at the University of Nebraska Medical Center for cancer research and 10% goes to local health care organizations in the communities that host the ball.
Tickets are available through Friday at the Holt County Economic Development Office in O’Neill or by logging on to cattlemensball.com.
