Millard West won the Boys Class A soccer championship with a 3-1 win over third ranked Creighton Prep, putting an end to Ron Beernink’s run as the Wildcats only head coach. Beernink retires after two state championships. Sophomore Caden Frank scored two goals, senior Dan Zapata had the other one as Millard West overcame a 1-0 deficit on a penalty kick from Michael Korbitz in the 26th minute. In the Boys Class B final, Columbus Scotus scored three second half goals for a 3-0 win over Omaha Skutt. Back to back titles for the Shamrocks who tie Skutt with their fifth overall title in Class B. Noah Schacher scored two goals and Jake Bos added the third. 6,109 fans watched the two finals.

The Class B girls final, Elkhorn South, will play Gretna. In the Class A girls final, Millard West plays Omaha Marian as the Wildcats will try to make it a boys-girls championship sweep.
