Nebraska legends Eric Crouch and Zach Wiegert have been named to the 2016 College Football Hall of Fame ballot. The 2016 ballot includes 76 players and five coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision.
Crouch was the 2001 Heisman trophy winner and led the Huskers to the national championship game. Wiegert was named Nebraska’s seventh Outland Trophy winner in 1994 and helped lead the Huskers to a national title.
The next Hall of Fame class will be announced January eighth in Scottsdale, Arizona as part of the College Football Playoff National Championship weekend.
