Susan Rodenburg is organizing the five-day, 285-mile trek, what’s known as a circle tour.
“A circle tour means we start and end in the same place,” Rodenburg says. “This year, it’s Ravenna. They’ll take off on June 17th from Ravenna and go to St. Paul, then Ord, Burwell, Broken Bow and back to Ravenna on Sunday, June 21st.”
This is the 28th year for the ride which started in 1988 with just ten cyclists.
“We’ve grown to about 250 cyclists which is a great size for us and for people doing their first multi-day bicycle tour,” she says. “We have people from all across the country, 18 different states, and also Canada coming in for the ride.”
The initial registration deadline has passed. Learn more about the ride at: www.tourdenebraska.com
