A 34-year-old Lincoln man has been sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of first-degree murder in the killing of his 28-year-old wife.
Kevin “Mike” Miller pleaded no contest to first-degree murder in the death of Kelsey Miller.
The remains of Miller were found in a Lincoln storage unit in December, six days after a missing person report was filed with the Lincoln Police Department. An autopsy determined Miller had been killed November 27th.
Lancaster County District Judge Lori Maret sentenced Miller to life in prison without parole for murder. The judge handed down an additional 50 years in prison on a charge of using a firearm to commit a felony.
Mike and Kelsey Miller had been married for eight years. They had three children.
