The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission reports roadway 5 at Stagecoach State Recreation Area (SRA) has been barricaded because of high water. Campgrounds, at present, are accessible. They could be temporarily closed if the water continues to rise.
Lakeside drives on Bluestem SRA in both areas 5 and 3 are underwater. Higher ground primitive camping remains available, though limited.
Olive Creek SRA area 2 is inaccessible. The access road is underwater.
Water levels have risen in the marsh area at Louisville SRA. Park staff is monitoring the situation to determine if nearby area electrical camping sites will be affected if water continues to rise.
In addition, Game and Parks reports Lake McConaughy is expected to reach 100% capacity by the end of this month. High water levels will affect some lake activities.
