A Nebraska State Patrol trooper clocked the motorcycle at 115 mph in a 55 mph zone.
The motorcyclist would hit 118 mph during a high-speed chase in southeastern Nebraska that lasted a little more than half an hour.
NSP reports 21-year-old Andrew Naderhoff of Hickman has been arrested on a number of charges and now is in jail in Lancaster County.
According to NSP, Naderhoff was clocked at 115 mph in 55 mph zone just west of the junction of Highway 75 and Highway 2 near Nebraska City. When the trooper attempted to stop Naderhoff, he took off.
Naderhoff rode west on Highway 2 through Otoe County and into Lancaster County where he turned south onto 120th Street. He slowed down on the gravel road, but refused to stop, according to NSP, hitting a couple of NSP cruisers; finally running out of fuel.
Naderhoff ditched the bike and ran. Troopers took him into custody after a short foot pursuit.
NSP reports Naderhoff faces charges of Felony Flight to Avoid Arrest, Speeding, Willful Reckless Driving, and Driving Under Suspension. Naderhoff was also wanted on a warrant out of Lancaster County for Third Degree Sexual Assault, according to NSP.
