Virginia has forced a winner take-all game at the College World Series. The Cavaliers broke through with two outs in the sixth inning to score three runs in a 3-0 win over Vanderbilt to even the championship series.
Adam Haseley and Josh Sborz combined on the shutout for Virginia and Thomas Woodruff drove in a pair of runs to lead the Cavaliers attack.
For the second straight year these teams will go the distance in the best-of-three finals. Vanderbilt will be playing for a second straight national title while Virginia would earn its first title with a victory.
