A 21-year-old Papillion woman has died of injuries sustained in a wreck at the Douglas-Sarpy County line Sunday.
Cayla Hawkins had suffered abdominal injuries, according to authorities.
Police from both Omaha and Bellevue responded to the crash which occurred late Sunday night at 39th Avenue and Harrison Street. Hawkins was traveling east on Harrison Street when it hit a westbound SUV. Hawkins, who was not wearing a seat belt, was rushed to Nebraska Medical Center and first listed as in critical condition.
The driver of the SUV was not injured.
