The excitement is building for next year’s U-S Olympic Swim Trials. Omaha Sports Commission President Harold Cliff says more than 100,000 tickets sold in just six weeks.
Cliff says, “We were expecting a good solid start but quite honestly the numbers we’ve achieved to date are outstanding and we are very pleased with where we sit.” Cliff goes on to say the largest amount of tickets have been purchased outside of Omaha. They are more than 1,000 full sessions ahead of where they were last time.
Cliff reports that most of the lower bowl is sold out for all fifteen sessions.
This will be the third consecutive time Omaha hosts the U-S Olympic Swim Trials that start on June 26, 2016.
Tickets are available at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha or online through TicketMaster.
