Robert Morris also will have to serve 100 hours of community service and pay a $40,000 fine.
U.S. Attorney Deborah Gilg reports U.S. District Judge John Gerrard sentenced Morris.
According to Gilg, Morris underreported a total of more than a million dollars in income between 2007 and 2012, avoiding federal taxes totaling $201,949.30. Once Morris learned he would be audited, he confessed and paid his tax debt in full.
Judge Gerrard cited Morris’ poor health as the reason he imposed no prison sentence.
