As the season opener approaches it is a big week for the Nebraska offense. With installation complete and one scrimmage under its belt offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf says the fine tuning begins.
“We’ve thrown a lot at them and challenged them with the installation and learning it. I feel like they have done a pretty good job with that”, said Langsdorf. “We still have some assignment errors so this is a huge week to work on details.”
Langsdorf says one result Saturday’s scrimmage is they still need to work on sideline communication with quarterback Tommy Armstrong.
“We were slow at times in the scrimmage”, said Langsdorf. “We need to break the huddle quicker so we can look at the defense and get us to the best play available.”
The Huskers open at home against BYU on September fifth.
