Omaha boxing champion Terrance “Bud” Crawford will defend his World Boxing Organization Junior Welterweight title at the Century Link Center on October 24th. Carwford’s opponent will be Dierry Jean, a Haitian boxer who fights out of Montreal.
Jean has only one loss in his career and Crawford vowed to make it two.
“Mark my words he will lose”, said Crawford. “I’m not just talking, I’m serious.”
Crawford is unbeaten and this will be his third bout in his hometown of Omaha. The fight will be televised by HBO and will follow the televised replay of unified heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko’s title defense against Tyson Fury from Germany earlier in the day.
