The Nebraska football team shifted its attention to South Alabama as the Huskers returned to the practice field on Monday following a heartbreaking season-opening loss to BYU.
Junior wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp said he was anxious to get back to work.
“We still have fire and we still have the momentum”, said Westerkamp. “It was a tough loss but it was still super exciting to get back out there finally after a long break. The atmosphere was awesome and it was great to see all the fans out there. We will be hyped up for this game as well.”
The Huskers host a South Alabama team that opened the season with a 33-22 victory over Gardner-Webb.
