According to Lincoln police, Ronald Walker was taken to the hospital Wednesday night after he ran a stop sign at a Lincoln intersection and collided with a sports utility vehicle. His condition worsened during the night. He died Thursday morning.
The driver of the SUV, 32-year-old Bradley Slaughter, told police he couldn’t avoid Walker’s pick-up.
The accident remains under investigation.
It is the 12th fatal accident in Lincoln this year.
