As a treat for her 11 year old daughter and friends, Andrea Krachtovil bought four tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Omaha on October 10th. Last week a representative of Ticketmaster called her to say someone had hacked into her secured account, stole her electronic tickets and sold them.
During a follow up call Krachtovil says a representative called and said she would be getting new tickets and they changed her account password. While she was talking to Ticketmaster someone again hacked in to her account, stole her new tickets and resold them.
Krachtovil says, “The last we heard was they were going to try to print us hard copy tickets and send them to us via UPS. The only concern there is the tickets have been resold by someone two times so for two of those seats there at least six holders of those tickets.”
Krachtovil says her tickets were sold on the Ticketmaster site and both times they were resold so the buyers would have legitimate seats. Krachtovil says she paid $133 for each ticket and they were resold for $600 each. She is hoping that all works out the evening of October 11th and all for original ticket holders will be able to enjoy the show.
