Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. has been named the Big Ten Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week.
Armstrong set a career high with 431 yards of total offense in Nebraska’s 36-28 win over Southern Miss. He completed 23-of-35 passes for 368 yards and two touchdowns, while carrying the ball seven times for 63 yards and one score.
Through four games this season, Armstrong has accounted for 1,384 yards of total offense. He has thrown for 1,266 yards and 11 touchdowns, while adding 118 rushing yards.
Armstrong shares the award with Indiana running back Jordan Howard.
