Nebraska senior defensive end Jack Gangwish says the Huskers are only focused on this week and not on the big picture. Off to their first 2-4 start since 1959 the Huskers have dropped their first two Big Ten games heading into this week’s visit to Minnesota.
Gangwish says while frustrated with the results the attitude has remained positive.
“This is my fifth season here. We have sacrificed a lot and put in a lot of time and our guys love it, they love this place and they love this team”, said Gangwish. “To see us not do well is tough but I think it is important to remember that we are competitors and we are competitive minded individuals. At this point our focus is on winning the next one.”
Minnesota is 4-2 and has won two straight against the Huskers.
