Nebraska basketball coach Tim Miles says he agrees with those who call Shavon Shields one of the most underrated players in the Big Ten. Miles made his comments at Big Ten basketball media day in Chicago.
“I think he has got a chance to be an NBA player”, said Miles. “I think he is going to score a whole bunch for us and as he improves his outside shot he is only going to get better and better.”
Shields finished second on the team in scoring at nearly 15 and a half points per game and was the top rebounder for a Husker squad that finished 13-18 a year ago.
The Huskers will debut on November ninth with an exhibition against Northern State.
