The only way to turn around what has been a frustrating season is to win. The Huskers are 2-4 as they get set to visit Minnesota and the four losses have been by a total of 11 points.
Nebraska coach Mike Riley said this week that at 0-2 in the Big Ten there is no sense in looking at the big picture and the only focus this week has been on the Gophers.
“It is just a game with a chance to win and really prove what we can do without having to think about big ramifications or standings”, said Riley. “We are out of that right now and we are just into a box.”
Minnesota is 4-2 and has won the last two games in the series. Kickoff in TCF Bank Stadium is 2:30p.m. The game will be televised by ESPN2.
