Nebraska coach Mike Riley has been impressed with how his players have handled adversity and is not concerned about how they will handle success.
The Huskers prepare for this week’s game at home against Northwestern after putting together their most complete effort of the season in a 48-25 win at Minnesota.
“That’s one of the big rules in life is don’t let circumstances control your attitude or behavior”, said Riley.” Now the message is about this should just make you hungry for more and we need another good week of growth.”
Junior wide receiver Alonzo Moore says success on Saturday begins with quality preparation.
“It starts in the film room and in practice”, said Moore. “We had a great week of practice that led up to the Minnesota game so we have to keep that going each and every day.”
The Huskers are 3-4 overall and will host a Northwestern squad that has lost two straight after opening 5-0.
