A search for a missing boater continues at Calamus Reservoir in north-east Nebraska.
Garfield County Sheriff Larry Donner says the boat has been found, but not the boater.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission temporarily closed the reservoir to public access during the search, but has re-opened it to boat traffic. The Homestead Knolls boat ramp remains closed.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, Garfield County Sheriff’s Office and Burwell Fire Department are working together in the search for 38-year-old Wesley Sell of Arcadia.
Sell has been missing since the fishing boat he was riding in sank amid high winds on the afternoon of October 11th.
Calamus Reservoir is located 5 miles northwest of Burwell in Garfield and Loup counties.
