The body of an Arcadia man has been recovered in Calamus Reservoir after his boat sank eight days ago during a fishing trip.
The Burwell Dive and Rescue Team recovered the body of Wesley Sell 39 feet below the surface of the lake in Loup County, according to Garfield County Attorney Dale Crandall.
Sell had been missing since Sunday, October 11th, when his boat developed mechanical problems and sank in rough water and high winds.
Three members of his family were rescued by fishermen.
Sell was 38.
A number of emergency crews joined the search. The body was recovered late Monday evening.
Calamus Reservoir spans more than 5,000 acres and is located 5 miles northwest of Burwell in Garfield and Loup counties.
