Omaha police are investigating an overnight accident that sent to people to a hospital with critical injuries. At 2:35 a.m., officers were called to 30th and Sorensen Parkway.
An Omaha Public Power District work truck was stopped in the right lane with its indicator and warning lights activated. The employee, Robert Paskevic was in the boom lift of the truck working on a light when his truck was hit by another vehicle. Paskevic was thrown from the boom lift and landed on his work truck below. He was rushed to a hospital with potentially life threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Travis Hall, was pinned inside his vehicle and had to be extricated by Omaha Fire and Rescue. He was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.
Omaha police believe alcohol in relation to the driver is believed to be a factor in this collision.
