Nebraska seized momentum with a convincing win at Minnesota and the Huskers look to maintain it against a Northwestern team that has dropped two straight after racing out to a 5-0 start.
Junior quarterback Tommy Armstrong directed a balanced Husker attack that ran for 203 yards and passed for 261 against the Gophers. Armstrong says the key is no turnovers and limit penalties.
“Offensive wise we have got to be sound and make sure we take care of the ball”, said Armstrong. “We just need guys making plays each and every time like we did this past weekend.”
The Huskers are 3-4 overall and 1-2 in the Big Ten.
Kickoff in Memorial Stadium is 11:00a.m. and the game will be televised by ESPN2.
