Mexican man sentenced in Omaha on child porn charges, likely to be deported, again

October 28, 2015 By Brent Martin

A 35-year-old Mexican has been sentenced in Omaha federal court to ten years in prison for receiving child pornography.

Chief Federal District Judge Laurie Camp sentenced Luis Armando Moreno-Ayala to ten years in prison, plus five years of supervised release. He most likely will be deported. Moreno-Ayala also has been ordered to pay $3,000 in restitution.

According to federal prosecutors, officers of the FBI Cyber Crimes Task Force issued a search warrant for the room Moreno-Ayala rented in a Sarpy County home in late September. A forensic analysis of the hard drives on his computer revealed more than 900 videos and 1,200 images of child pornography, some that included toddlers and pre-teens; some images included bondage.

Moreno-Ayala had previously been deported from the United States.
