An upset victory over Michigan State has changed the outlook for Nebraska as the Huskers prepare for the final two games of the regular season. The 39-38 win over the sixth ranked Spartans was their biggest of the season and provided a confidence boost heading into Saturday’s game at Rutgers.
Senior defensive tackle Kevin Williams says the win allows the Huskers to focus on what is ahead and not dwell on what could have been.
“Don’t think about the past but then again don’t forget it”, said Williams. ” Don’t forget how bad we felt those games but at the same time don’t dwell on it. We have two games left and all we can do now is push forward and put our best foot forward.”
