Wind and snow buffet western Nebraska, reducing visibility near the Nebraska-Colorado state line.
Some reports estimate visibility reduced to a quarter of a mile in some locations. The snow keeps moving east in Nebraska.
Forecaster Bill Taylor with the National Weather Service says much of the worst part of the storm has hit near the Interstate 80 and Interstate 76 split, south into Colorado.
“Probably gets a little bit better as you head to the southwest, but they still have quite a bit of snow falling and wind down in through the Denver area. So, travel not the best this morning,” Taylor tells High Plains Radio, an affiliate of Nebraska Radio Network.
As much as four inches of snow is expects at the Nebraska-Colorado border with strong winds throughout the day.
