A 25-year-old South Sioux City man died Thursday night in a two-car crash in northeastern Nebraska.
The Cedar County Sheriff’s Office reports Aaron Surber was pronounced dead at the scene, three miles south of Laurel on Nebraska 15.
According to the accident report, Surber was driving north. He over-corrected when his SUV crossed the center line, causing it to cross the center line again, hitting a pick-up driven by 23-year-old Tyler Vrba of Laurel.
The SUV rolled several times, coming to rest in a corn field.
Surber was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in his car was taken to a Wayne hospital and treated for minor injuries.
