Two western Nebraska residents died in a one-vehicle crash in the Panhandle.
The Nebraska State Patrol reports an eastbound SUV ran off Interstate 80 late Thursday night near Bushnell in Kimball County. The SUV went into a median, traveled several hundred feet, went airborne, and struck a concrete barrier on the eastside of the Bushnell overpass.
Killed in the crash were 57-year-old Kelly Rose of Scottsbluff, the driver, and 64-year-old Forrest Rose of Scottsbluff, the passenger. Neither were wearing seat belts.
The Nebraska State Patrol and the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office continues the investigation.
