Game week preparations started Sunday for the Nebraska football team as the Huskers get set for Friday’s regular season finale against third ranked Iowa.
The Huskers have been idle since a November 14th victory at Rutgers and junior safety Nate Gerry says they looking forward to the challenge of playing the unbeaten Hawkeyes.
“It is going to be a big week for us and another opportunity to take on a top ten opponent”, said Gerry. “They are a good football team and probably the closest team to the Nebraska football style there is.”
Iowa is 11-0 and clinched a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game with a 40-20 victory over Purdue.
