A man with a violent history is back in Omaha police custody. On Tuesday, December 1st, Officers with the Omaha Police Department’s Gang Unit and SWAT team joined ATF in a joint operation at 144th and Maple Street. That operation led to the arrest of a convicted felon, Terry Barfield, who was found in possession of a firearm.
Barfield is the former head of an Omaha gang. He was released from prison last June after serving 10 years for 2nd degree murder.
Barfield’s criminal history also includes convictions for drug offenses, robbery and gun offenses. He was booked for felon in possession of a firearm.
