The Nebraska football team will return to the practice field on Friday to begin preparations for the December 26th Foster Farms Bowl in Santa Clara, California.
The Huskers finished the regular season with a 5-7 record and will play a UCLA team that is 8-4 and was ranked as high as seventh in the A-P Poll.
Husker coach Mike Riley says the bowl game gives his team a chance to finish on a positive note.
“This is a chance to finish out this season as best we can with a win”, said Riley. “I always think a win in a bowl game is a good kickoff into the offseason and heading into the next season.”
