A 28 year old man is in critical condition after an accident this morning at 168th and Pacific. At 7 a.m. a semi owned by Spic and Span Linen Supply Company was westbound on Pacific Street and was attempting a left turn when it was hit nearly head on by a pickup. Jayme Billingsley of Omaha was taken to a hospital with cuts and broken bones.
The driver of the semi, 39 year old Jason Hamor of Omaha was not hurt.
Two vehicles that were stopped at a red light were also struck. There was an 11 month old in one of the vehicles and the child was properly restrained and not hurt. In the other vehicle was a 14 year old who was properly restrained and not injured. Both drivers are also ok.
Police say speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in this collision and the investigation continues.
