A 24-year-old rural Bridgeport man has been charged with the death of a man found stuffed in a barrel in western Nebraska.
Zachary Mueller has been charged with first degree murder in the death of 33-year-old Pedro Adrian Dominguez of Greeley, Colorado.
A 70-year-old farmer fished the 55-gallon drum out of Red Willow Creek near Bayard. The farmer contacted the Morrill County Sheriff’s office which opened the barrel to discover a body inside.
Dominguez had been shot in the back of his head.
Investigators from Morrill County found ammunition at the Mueller residence. They found him in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
