An Omaha man has been sentenced to four years and ten months in prison for bank robbery.
63-year-old Robert Davis pleaded guilty in September to robbing the American National Bank on October 17th of last year.
Upon release from federal prison, Davis will have to serve three years of supervised release. He also must pay $965 in restitution.
The bank actually had its front doors locked, because of numerous bank robberies in Omaha on the 17th. Once Davis was allowed in, he approached a teller, pulled a gun, and demanded money. The teller gave him $965 in a bag.
Investigators identified Davis through video surveillance as well as DNA on a hat he left in the area.
