The Nebraska men’s basketball team will be on the road in Big Ten play to challenge 22nd ranked Indiana. The Huskers are 6-7 and visit a Hoosier squad that at 10-3 is a game out of first place.
Nebraska coach Tim Miles says the key will be slowing down the high scoring Hoosiers.
“We need to control tempo and against Indiana it is done by making them take a long time to score”, said Miles. “If they can get quick and east shots in transition you have got a problem on your hands.”
The Huskers will be without senior forward Shavon Shields for the third straight game. He is still recovering from a concussion.
” We are going to keep him home. Right now Shavon needs to get Shavon in order and I want him healthy and in a good place when it is time to play and that won’t be at Indiana.”
Tip off in Assembly Hall is 7:36p.m. The game will be televised by the Big Ten Network.
