Nebraska basketball coach Tim Miles expects Shavon Shields to play on Thursday night when the Huskers visit Penn State. Shields has missed the last four games after suffering a concussion in a February 6 game at home against Rutgers.
The senior forward has been practicing with the team.
“He has never asked to come out and we kept him kind of moderate with activity”, said Miles. “I would expect he will play but I don’t know how much.”
Miles says how much Shields plays will depend upon how he feels.
Shields is averaging 15.7 points and five rebounds per game this season.
