The Nebraska football team will conduct its second workout of the spring on Tuesday and already there has been a major position switch.
Third-year sophomore Zack Darlington has moved from quarterback to receiver. Husker coach Mike Riley says the native of Florida is working as a slot receiver.
“Zack and I have been talking for a while about something like this”, said Riley. “What he is looking for is opportunity and what we are looking for is the placement of a guy who is a really good athlete somewhere where he can finde a niche.”
The Huskers conducted their first workout over the weekend and Riley says they looked much sharper than a year ago.
“Most of it looked so much better which it should.”
