With talent and depth the wide receiver position is considered one of the strengths on the Nebraska football team this spring.
The Huskers return all of their top receivers from last season, including Alonzo Moore, who had a breakout junior season with 24 receptions and six touchdowns.
“We stick together no matter what and help each other out”, said Moore.
The receiving corps of Moore, Jordan Westerkamp, Brandon Reilly, Stanley Morgan junior and De’Mornay Pierson-El combined for 166 receptions last season and provide much needed leadership.
“That is a group I have been excited about”, said Nebraska coach Mike Riley. “I expect them to play a big role in our success.”
