Two people are behind bars accused of manufacturing marijuana. Douglas County deputies were sent to a home near 189th and Anne Street around 7 p.m. Sunday, March 20th due to a domestic disturbance call. Deputies then noticed a strong odor of raw marijuana coming from the basement area.
While investigating, deputies found a marijuana growing operation that included six plants and grow lights. 53 year old Morris Hoodye and 44 year old Ayanna Alvarez were arrested and booked on manufacturing marijuana charges and no tax stamp.
