Mike Riley’s 2017 recruiting class at Nebraska received a big addition when receiver Keyshawn Johnson Jr. announced he will become a Husker. The son of former USC and NFL star Keyshawn Johnson made the announcement on Twitter with a prerecorded video.
ESPN ranks the six-foot-one California native as 21st-ranked receiver in the 2017 recruiting class and he choose the Huskers over USC and Ohio State.
Riley was USC’s offensive coordinator when Johnson’s father played for the Trojans.
Johnson’s announcement gives Nebraska four ESPN 300 commitments in the past two recruiting classes and the Huskers now have three commitments for the 2017 class.
