Two teams riding winning streaks collide as Nebraska hosts Creighton in College baseball action.
Nebraska is 16-7 and the Huskers have won 13 out of 14 after sweeping a three game Big Ten series at Purdue over the weekend while Creighton’s 10-game winning streak is its longest since 2007. The Bluejays are 16-4.
The Huskers have won the last six meetings in the series and the Bluejays last victory in Lincoln was back in 2010.
It will be the first of three games between the two teams this year, with the final two games played at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha.
Nebraska is scheduled to start junior left hander Max Knutson, who will be making his first start of the season. Creighton is scheduled to start senior right hander Connor Miller, who will make his ninth appearance of the year and his third start.
