As spring drills move into the final two weeks Nebraska offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf says he will get a better evaluation of the run game.
The Huskers will practice more often in full pads as they get ready for the April 16 Red-White Spring Game.
“Those shorts practices are tough because it is not a real look”, said Langsdorf. “It is kind of a mental rep day but as we get pads on and we are able to hit there is a lot more emphasis on the run.”
At quarterback, seniors Tommy Armstrong and Ryker Fyfe work with the top units. Sophomore A.J. Bush and freshman Patrick O’Brien work with the third and fourth-teamers.
The Huskers return to the practice field on Saturday.
